Product Description

LFQ Prepainted Steel Sheet 0.18–1.20mm 700–1250mm for Roofing and Building Panels

1.Product Overview

Prepainted steel sheet with Lock Forming Quality (LFQ) is designed for roofing sheets, wall cladding, building panels, home appliance panels, and fabricated steel components requiring stable forming performance and finished surface appearance.

The product combines a galvanized steel substrate with a continuous paint coating system. The zinc coating provides corrosion protection, while the painted surface improves appearance consistency, weather resistance, and suitability for visible applications.

2.Technical Solution

The product uses hot dipped galvanized steel substrate with zinc coating ranging from 20–275g/m² for different service environments.

The top surface coating structure uses 10–20 micron polyester plus 5 micron primer. The back surface uses 5–7 micron or 7–8 micron polyester plus 5 micron primer.

Available paint systems include polyester, SMP, and PVDF, supporting standard indoor applications, outdoor exposure, and higher weather resistance requirements.

4.Application

The material is suitable for roofing sheets, wall cladding, steel structure buildings, warehouses, airport buildings, workshops, storage facilities, home appliance panels, and decorative construction panels.

It is commonly used where stable forming performance and finished painted appearance are required.

5.Processing

  • The material can be supplied in sheet or coil form according to project requirements.
  • It supports roll forming, bending, profiling, cutting, and slitting processes.
  • Protective film can be applied on the top side to reduce surface marks during fabrication, transportation, and installation.

6.Advantages

  • The LFQ quality supports stable forming performance during roofing and panel fabrication.
  • The galvanized substrate provides reliable corrosion protection with zinc coating from 20–275g/m².
  • The 0.12–1.20mm thickness range covers common construction and panel processing applications.
  • Polyester, SMP, and PVDF paint systems support different weather resistance requirements.
  • The 700–1250mm width range is compatible with mainstream roll-forming production lines.
  • Customized colors according to RAL standards are available.

7.How to Choose

  • Choose polyester for standard roofing and wall panel applications.
  • Choose SMP when better outdoor weather resistance is required.
  • Choose PVDF for stronger UV resistance and long-term exterior use.
  • Choose higher zinc coating levels for humid or coastal environments.
  • Choose thicker material when higher panel rigidity is required.
  • Confirm final color, gloss, protective film, and processing method before production.
